Stacey Pilkington-Smith lives in Lincolnton, NC with her husband, son, and two very bad dachshunds. In 2020 she closed her gallery of 7 years to open The Blue House Studio. The Blue House is painted blue as a nod to Kahlo and serves as her personal studio, classroom for students, and operations for the online store. In 2021 the Blue House obtained an NC nursery license and began keeping bees on the property, making TBHS her ultimate happy place.
